yes, the wedding was incredible. the ceremony was short, Lindsay looked lovely, and the food was.... well, it was ok. nothing that was vegetarian looked too good, but they had these funny little hors d'ourves (i have no bloody idea how to spell that) which i enjoyed (tomato slice and mozzarella with pesto on top of a little pastry fluff).
oh! funny moment... the woman who was the caretaker of the Shogun (again, spelling might be off) House turned the power off for the band around 8.45 pm, saying something about the noise curfew and the neighbours not appreciating music until all hours of the night... little did she know that she had a handful of lawyers (most important of the bunch being the father of the bride!) and a judge in the crowd. i don't know what all went down, but the music was on about 15 minutes later. and we all had a good laugh about it... except Mr. Father-of-Bride, who was still angry.
but the wedding went down beautifully, and everybody shed a tear or two.
i was back in Ashland by 9 pm on Sunday, and working Monday.
special note for carolina girl (who i have the sneaking suspicion might be my Aunt from SC): my skirt looked awesome, as did my top. a few days before i went north, i got about 4 inches cut off my hair, so when i curled it for the wedding, it was curly. and to be sure, i was the only one at the wedding in Birkenstocks :)
Alright, time to start on my to-do list. i think i'll leave the Medford run for another day, but i have a few things here in Ashland to take care of... have a good day, all!
